Sarath Kulanga's Deiyoth Danne Ne will be staged at the Namel-Malini
Punchi Theatre, Colombo 8 on November 24 at 3.30 p.m. and 6.45 p.m.
Agenda 14 short film festival
Agenda 14 in partnership with the European Film Academy will showcase
the work of young Sri Lankan film-makers at the short film festival at
the Goethe Hall, Colombo 7 on December 7 and 8 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
European Academy Award nominated short films will also be screened. The
festival will include a workshop conducted by the German documentary
film-maker Alexander Riedel.
Magam Soliya, pornography and Loveena
Silumina Editor Ranjan Amararatne, K.K. Saman Kumara, Madhumadheva
Aravinda and Daya Dissanayake will participate in a discussion about
Mohan Raj Madawalage's Sinhala novels Magam Soliya, Loveena and
pornography.
Kema Lasthi
Ajith Mendis's Kema Lasthi will be staged at the Namel-Malini Punchi
Theatre, Colombo 8 on November 23 at 7 p.m.
Kelaniya University drama show
The Drama and Theatre Unit of the University of Kelaniya in
association of the Academic Players will present Priyankara Ratnayake's
Ada Vage Davasaka, Antigone and Visekariya at the Lionel Wendt Theatre
on November 21 and 22. The shows will start at 6.30 p.m.
Balloth Ekka Be
Ravindra Ariyarathne's Balloth Ekka Be will be staged at the Town
Hall, Avissawella on November 22 at 3.30 p.m. and 6.45 p.m. |
