Asela Sanjaya Thuduwewatta - Best Sportsman at Dharmaraja College

Asela Sanjaya Thuduwewatta was selected as the Best Sportsman of
Dharmaraja College for 2013. He received a Trophy at the Colours Night
from Mr. Anura Jayawickrema - the Secretary of the Ministry of Sports -
the chief guest at the awards ceremony held at the College Auditorium on
November 8.
Another outstanding sportsman to receive an award was ruggerite T.E.
Wijesinghe who received the Jayasundera Memorial Trophy from the Chief
Guest - S.M. Keerthiratne - the Principal. Wijesinghe scored 128 points
as a player and place-kicker.
Besides the Principal, Sanjeewa Alahakoon and Dr. S.T. Kudagammana
were present at the occasion as guests of honour.
There were colours awards, merit awards, special awards and "Dagoba
Awards" that were presented to many sportsmen. There were 136 students
who received merit awards, colours awards were received by 42 students
and special awards were received by 8 students and "Dagoba" awards by 75
students.
