Corporate management program concludes

'Corporate Management for Sri Lanka' (LKCM), a scholarship program offered by the Japan-Sri Lanka Technical and Cultural Association (JASTECA) with their parent organisation, the Overseas Human Resources and Industry Development Association (HIDA) was held last month in Nagoya, Japan. Twenty-three senior corporate managers and entrepreneurs from Sri Lanka were present.

HIDA Japan, formerly known as the Association for Overseas Technical Scholarship works to elevate the standards of professionalism and business management in developing countries by promoting technical cooperation through training.

JASTECA has helped develop well-rounded professionals in various disciplines of management, specially Japanese style management techniques.

In awarding scholarships to Sri Lankan professionals, HIDA, Japan works with JASTECA. Many Sri Lankan organisations and professionals attached to them have benefited from the LKCM program conducted throughout the years.
