Dear children,

Sri Lanka celebrates the Independence Day on February 4. We gained Independence on February 4, 1948. This year too as in the past, Independence Day will be celebrated . The celebrations will be held along the Galle Face promenade and at the Old Parliament esplanade. There will be military parades and march-past by the security forces. It is a wonderful sight to view.
