Appointed new Chief Commissioner

Former Principal of Ananda College L.M.D. Dharmasena assumed duties as the Chief Commissioner of Education at Isurupaya, Battaramulla last week.

He will be responsible for the management of all National Colleges of Education, Teachers Colleges and Teacher Centres countrywide.

A Class I SLEAS officer, Dharmasena was a former Commissioner of Examinations in charge of the Organisation and Results branch and also headed the Examinations Department's IT branch prior to his latest appointment.
