Sri Lanka 'A' Emerging Players' Tharindu Kaushal took a five wicket
haul to dismiss England Lions for 201 on the first day of the three-day
game played at R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo on Saturday. The home team
were struggling at 92-4 at stumps despite Bhanuka Rajapaksa's brisk half
century.
Electing to bat, England Lions' also lost their top four wickets for
90 runs due to accurate bowling by the home team led by paceman Ishan
Jayaratne and Tharindu Kaushal. Right arm seamer Jayaratne captured two
wickets while Chathura Randunu took two for 44. Moeen Ali struck a half
century (53) for tourists', hitting five fours and two sixes.

opening stand as Udara Jayasundara was got out for golden duck off Chris
Woakes. Two right arm seamers Mark Wood and Woakes bowled absolutely
spot on with accuracy and bounce, which Lankan 'A' batsmen found
difficult to negotiate.

fours. Left handed Rajapakse, who came to the crease at number four,
