Three years in a row for Gateway

Gateway College Colombo won the Under 19 Girls Netball Championship for the third consecutive year. The inter International School tournament, that was played at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium, Colombo, was organized by the Ilma International School. At the final, Gateway beat Ilma International School by 9-7. At the semi-final, Gateway beat Colombo International School, Colombo 7-3.

In the preliminary stage, Gateway overcame Lyceum International School, Wattala9-8, OKI International School 7-1 and Gateway College Kanday 9-6.

Two major awards of the tournament were won by the Gateway netballers.Kalani De Silvawas named the Netball Queen of the tournament and Lihini Pererawas adjudged as the Best shooter.
