
Ranwala Foundation offers scholarships
The Ranwala Foundation will grant scholarships for those who have won
All-Ceylon awards in either dancing, drum-beating or singing. Winners
could enroll free in the course for songs and performing arts.

Rassa Saha Parassa
Rassa Saha Parassa will be staged at the Tower Hall theatre on
February 27 at 3.30 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Madhura Javanika
Dayananda Gunawardhana's Madhura Javanika will be staged at the
Medical Faculty auditorium, Karapitiya on March 2 at 3.30 p.m. and 6.30
p.m.
Entries called for Godage National Literary Awards
The Godage Book Emporium, Colombo 10 will entertain entries for the
prestigious Godage National Literary Awards from authors. Three awards
will be given to the Best Novel, Best Short Story Collection and Best
Poetry Book published in the English medium in 2013. The closing date
for the entries will be March 31.
Navajeevana books to promote disability awareness
Kala Keerthi Sybil Wettasinghe and Navajeevana have launched three
books in Sinhala, Tamil and English to promote disability awareness
among the people.
The books, The Flowered Umbrella and The Lost Pot of Curd written by
Hilda Amaraweera and My heart Sings by Kala Keerthi Sybil Wettasinghe
will be available in school libraries, children's wards, church and
temple libraries, medical and dental clinics.
