Ganja chena raided

A Ganja Chena at Hangun Ara in the Lunugamvehera national park was
raided by Wild Life officers and five suspects were taken into custody,
Uva Region Assistant Director of Wild Life Sisira Kumara de Silva said.
He said that ganja had been cultivated in one acre which is valued at
Rs. 75 Lakhs.
A muzzle loading gun was also recovered in the possession of the
suspects who were produced before Tissamaharama magistrate and District
judge Indika Ruwan de Silva.
They were remanded till February 21.
