Excellence frameworks strengthen corporates

The first National Business Excellence Summit 2014 organised by the National Chamber of Commerce will be held on March 21 and 22 at the BMICH.

The Chamber has been actively promoting business excellence among Sri Lankan corporates to guide them towards overall excellence.

Excellence frameworks and awards are well known particularly in Japan, USA and Europe where they have been used to strengthen local corporates to compete in the global market.

It is now well established that an organisation with overall excellence, that is where its leadership is strong and evident, its corporate governance is transparent and professional, its care and development of employees is high, its business capacity is growing, manages performance well, spends adequately and encourages innovation and market development with consistent customer satisfaction, cares for the environment and the people, and produces above average financial results consistently, is more trusted, more sought after, and its products and services are considered more reliable.
