THASL conducts tourism awareness program

The Hotels Association of Sri Lanka (THASL) conducted the fourth Tourism Awareness Program for Advanced Level students in the Colombo region at Hotel Ramada recently.

Over 100 Advanced Level students from seven schools were present. President, THASL, Jayantissa Kehelpannala welcomed the students and gave a brief introduction to the program.

Past President of THASL and coordinator of the program Srilal Miththapala gave an overview of the hotel industry and the job opportunities available to the students which was followed by a speech by Immediate Past President of THASL, Anura Lokuhetty who shared his personal experiences.
