Stamps issued to mark Vesak celebrations |
New stamps
Four stamps of Rs. 5, Rs. 10, Rs. 15 and Rs. 20 will be issued by the
Philatelic Bureau tomorrow to mark the Vesak celebration which falls on
May 14, the Postal Ministry sources said. These stamps will be issued at
a ceremony organised at Prime Minister's Office at 10.00 a.m.
The event will be held under the patronage of Prime Minister D.M.
Jayaratne and Postal Services Minister Jeevan Kumaranatunga.
