to MBA programs at government Universities and contribution in educating
young professionals in the country have been recognised by YOU ARE HERE
campaign.
Chaminda commented on this unique achievement, "I am really honoured
to have my story featured in YOU ARE HERE campaign of HKS. I have been
teaching management for 10 years in Sri Lanka and currently teaching as
a visiting lecturer to MBA Programs at University of Colombo, University
of Moratuwa and Kothelawala Defence University. For many years, I have
been using latest interactive teaching methodologies adapted from
Harvard to Sri Lankan MBA programs and student and academic communities
accepted them with high enthusiasm.
These methodologies include case methods of teaching, online
simulation games and other web-based learning tools.
In 2012, I had the opportunity to get my executive education at HKS
by participating at US- South Asia Leader Engagement program on the
invitation of National Defense University (NDU) of Washington D.C and by
the sponsorship of Department of Defense of U.S. government.
