Ra-Blue sets record at Massachusetts
The Green leader and his understudy set new world records as the
worst crowd pullers. Ra-Blue's much publicised lecture at the
Massachusetts Uni attracted only five participants. Hence, the
organisers, who had previously booked a large auditorium, hurriedly
converted it into a panel discussion, much to Ra-Blue's discomfiture.
Gem Wije compelled to abandon protest
march
On the same day, Ra-Blue's relative Gem Wije, who is being groomed to
succeed him as the Green leader, had the shock of his life after
attracting just 14 supporters for a protest march in Bibile. A few
motorcycles and a vehicle, not more than 14 people compelled the Greens'
youth wing leader to abandon the march halfway, following a warning from
a senior leadership Council member.
Fonny promotes his better half
Ah-know-mah, Fonny's better half, plans to contest the next Prez
election if her hubby is unable to contest without civic rights.
However, none of the party seniors is in favour of the move to field
Ah-know-mah as the Prez candidate from the Husband and Wife party.
"Where is our democracy?" they had questioned in one voice despite Fonny
turning aggressive.
Retired Big Lady spurned by all
The retired Big Lady is overjoyed over the recent political
developments and is hoping to get appointments with those who made wild
statements. Having failed to meet Fonny and Anura Prince, she has now
sought one on one meetings with a few Tamil and Muslim leaders. Knowing
her true nature and lust for power only too well, even her old
confidants in the Gampaha district are evading her. |
