Buddhist Counselling course for cops

The Buddhist and Pali University of Sri Lanka has introduced a
diploma course in Buddhist Counselling for the Sri Lankan police.
The first batch which includes 154 Police Inspectors selected
islandwide would begin to undergo training soon.
The Buddhist counselling is a concept of Buddhist and Pali University
chancellor Prof. Ven. Ittademaliye Indrasara Nayaka Thera and Defence
Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa.
The participants of the course are taught the communicative skills of
English and Tamil Languages, said Ven. K. Dhammadassi Nayaka Thera, the
Chief Advisor of Kurunegala District Dhamma schools.
