President, Narendra Modi to hold bilateral talks
President Mahinda Rajapaksa is expected to hold bilateral discussions
with the new Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi after the swearing-in
ceremony tomorrow.
Foreign Ministry sources said the new Indian Premier is expected to
meet all SAARC Heads of States and have one on one talks after taking
oaths at 6.00 p.m. at the Rashtrapati Bhawan. President Rajapaksa is
also expected to hold bilateral talks with Maldivian President Abdulla
Yameen Abdul Gayoom and Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on the
sidelines and return to the country on Tuesday.
He will call on Indian President Pranab Mukherjee before his return
to Colombo.
