NDB introduces travellers card

NDB introduced TravelPal, a prepaid Visa accredited foreign currency card to the market recently. Issued in US Dollars, Sterling Pounds, Euros, Saudi Arabian Riyals and Australian Dollars. This travellers' card is accepted at any overseas VISA merchant outlet (POS and at over two million Visa ATMs worldwide.

NDB TravelPal is an ideal travel companion that substitutes the inconvenience of carrying foreign currency and once-preferred traveller's cheques with a more convenient option. Overseas travellers can now load their NDB TravelPal with the desired currency out of the five available currencies for instant use in any part of the world.

NDB, Chief Operating Officer, Indrajit Wickramasinghe said, "Today, we see a continuous growth in overseas travel in which foreign currency is an essential element.

NDB TravelPal has been designed to ensure that overseas travellers enjoy a hassle free journey, with the assurance of having their foreign currency safely locked in an easy-to-carry travel card."
