Fifteen injured in Hatton bus accident

At least 15 passengers sustained serious injuries when a SLTB bus travelling on Nuwara Eliya -Hatton Road crashed into a roadside mound of earth in Kudagama area in Thalawakele yesterday morning, the police said.

The bus belonging to the Hatton Depot was proceeding to Hatton when it veered off the road.

The injured passengers were rushed to the Dikoya Hospital. There were seven women and eight men including the driver among the injured, the police said.
