 Cover: To school on bicycles
Students of Murunga Hiri Kande Maha Vidyalaya in Madatugama in
Dambulla lacks facilities. The village children have to either take a
bicycle ride or trek many miles to reach the school. Many children opt
for the latter because they can ill afford even a bicycle ride. Our
staff photographer Susantha Wijegunasekera captured this group of
students on their way to school.
