Rs. 175 billion in ETF coffers

The Employees' Trust Fund (ETF) has taken legal action against 2,275 government institutions and private firms who had defaulted payments to the tune of Rs. 250 million on ETF contributions.

ETF Chairman, T.H.K. Godawatta has informed all private institutions to remit the ETF membership contributions on time.

Strict legal action would be taken against defaulters. At present Rs. 175 billion is held in ETF coffers.
