Royal medicoes launch website

Royal College Doctors’ Association (RCDA), one of the most vibrant professional organisations affiliated to the Royal College Union, in addition to the numerous welfare activities will launch its official website (www.rcda.lk) tomorrow at 8.30 a.m. at Royal College Main Hall. It will act not only as a chamber of communication for members of RCDA but will also include a public forum for health related questions. RCDA with a membership of over 1,500 doctors of all grades and specialities will answer your burning questions within 24 hours.

A medical fitness evaluation guidelines for Royal sportsmen will also be held on that day. Under a directive of the Ministry of Education via a circular issued in 2013, it was made compulsory for every sportsman to undergo a physical fitness evaluation examination prior to participation in every sports event annually. Royal College, Colombo one of the most populated schools in the country with a student population of over 8,000 will benefit by the program.

The guideline was developed according to international standards with contributions from local experts.
