Facelift for Devinuwara electorate

The Government has taken the initiative to accelerate development activities in the electoral division of Devinuwara. Southern Provincial Member and the chief SLFP organiser for the Devinuwara electorate Kanchana Wijesekera said that 89 Grama Niladhari divisions under the purview of Devinuwara and Dickwella Divisional Secretariat Divisions will be developed in these development programs.

Proposed projects include Divi Neguma, Gama Neguma, one project for one village and Palath Neguma improvement programs. Most of these activities are successfully underway They are expected to be completed before the end of the year. Rs. 330 million has been allocated by the Economic Development Ministry in this connection.
