A young Visakhian contingent in Sri Lanka's Commonwealth Games squad
Visakha Vidyalaya, Colombo has got together several sportsmen who
have qualified to represent Sri Lanka at the 20th Commonwealth Games to
be held in glasgow, Scotland. The games will be held from July 23 to
August 3rd.
The Visakha contingent will comprise; Chamathsara Fernando and
Hansari Piyumila (Table Tennis), Thilini Hendahewa (Badminton), Naduni
Gunawardene (Squash).
Then as an addition, Dasuni Hansika Mendis and W.A. Thiyumi Yashora
will represent Sri Lanka at the 41st World Chess Olympiad 2014 in
Norway.
