New restaurant chain opens in Colombo
The Subway restaurant chain, a large submarine sandwich chain with a
presence in over 42,000 restaurants in 107 countries opened in Sri Lanka
last week.
The quick service restaurant brand hopes to make rapid growth in the
country with restaurants across the island where a large number of local
entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to own and operate their
businesses.
"People here are appreciative of fresh, flavoured offerings and
experimenting with international tastes.
"Subway is just the right kind of opportunity to grow and expand in
the restaurant business while serving people with high quality products
at reasonable prices," said Franchise owner and Chairman, Subway
Development (Pvt) Ltd, Nathan Wills.
