New building complex for WPC Chief Ministry

Construction work on the new building complex for the WPC Chief Ministry has commenced.

The complex in Battaramulla, a fifteen-storeyed building will cost of Rs. 4800m will be completed in three years. At present, the WPC Chief Minister's Office, Chief Secretary's Office and a few Provincial Ministry offices are at the 'Srawasti Mandiraya' Colombo 7, which comes within the Colombo Tourist Zone was at one time, the hostel for parliamentarians.
