Students of Ranpokunugama Vidyalya, Nittambuwa made an innovative creation of the
traditional oil lamp usually used to launch an event. Picture shows students getting ready

Lake House photographer Mahinda Vithanachchi held his sixth exhibition 'Montage on life', successfully at the National Art Gallery, Colombo, an exhibition of still-life photographs and followed it up with a repeat performance at the Nittambuwa Ranpokunugama Vidyalaya which has a following of amateur artistes.

The exhibition drew a large crowd including students, teachers and parents. The school has a special art section spearheaded by the school's art master, Ajith Edirisinghe who is a dedicated art teacher. Principal Saman Jayasekara was behind the successful holding of the exhibition.
