Drinking water for 7,500 families

Construction work on the Ibbagamuwa Water Supply Project estimated at a cost of Rs. 239 million is in progress. When the work is completed, 7,500 families in and around Ibbagamuwa town will have access to drinking water. The water resource of the project is Kuda Oya. It has been planned to issue 1.5 million litres of water per day under this project.

Construction work on the storage tank is also in progress. Laying of pipelines too has already begun.
