Huh-Ring in a dilema
Huh-Ring is of two minds after resigning from the House of Diyawanna.
He had told a close friend that he fears that he would suffer the same
fate as One-Shot. In his final speech, he had conceded defeat, saying
that it's easy to resign to contest on the governing party ticket as
Kind-Siri but it was a hard decision for him to tender his resignation
to contest the PC polls on the You-En-Pee ticket.
Diplomatic politics!
Some Western diplomats seem to be engaging in local politics,
ignoring the foreign service mandate. They are ready to offer big cash
incentives for those who are willing to give evidence before Pillay's
committee. Some vehicles belonging to Uncle Sam's mission here were seen
transporting prospective witnesses for a controversial meeting.
Wanted! - Love-Slave
One wouldn't be surprised if Ra-Blue were to seek the assistance of
the Commission on Missing Persons to find Saa-jeet, the Love-Slave.
Although Huh-Ring had put up posters with photographs of Ra-Blue and
Love-Slave, the latter had gone missing from the day the Uva PC polls
had been announced. Cognizant that Ra-Blue is trying to use him as a
scapegoat after an impending defeat at Uva, Love-Slave has gone missing
to evade responsibility for the Greens' campaign.
Till-Van teams up with Lull-Kanth
Till-Van has teamed up with Lull-Kanth to speak against Anura
Prince's attempt to find a candidate that is common for the next Prez
elections. The majority in the Bell Boys' politburo is against Prince's
attempt to find an outsider for the job. However, the leader of the Bell
party is doing his utmost to avoid facing the next Prez polls as his
political nudity would be exposed. |
