Four-year warranty for laptops

Laptop Service Centre (Pvt) Limited which specialises in total care and after sales services for all reputed brands of laptops, has introduced a four-year comprehensive warranty for any branded laptop purchased from the outlets authorised by the Laptop Service Centre tagged Mega Warranty.

"The modern, technically advanced Centre is backed by a professional technical team and located at Unity Plaza," a company spokesman said.

"The product 'Mega Warranty' (the extended warranty) could be tagged on to your laptop purchased from authorised sales outlets and then we take over the maintenance of your laptop for the next four years," said the head of the product, Dhanuka Asela.

The company is exploring the possibility of upgrading the product by adding a ADP (Accidental Damage Protection) tag which will give the customer to claim warranty for physical damages too, this will come up in the near future as 'Mega warranty - ADP Cover', he said.

"We are in a position to offer such service to customers since the Laptop Service Centre is an authorised service provider for reputed laptop brands.

The Centre hopes to set up 24/7 help line and collection centres islandwide," Asela said.

The product is bundled with a virus guard as an introductory offer. The Laptop Service Centre is powered by Technocity (Pvt) Ltd.
