Title deeds for 5000 landless families

Five-thousand landless families in Kurunegala and Puttalam Districts would receive title deeds before the end of November this year. The NWP - Chief Minister Dayasiri Jayasekara has made arrangements with the help of the Ministry of Lands.

"Those who do not have even an inch of land of their own would be granted with the ownership of lands under the patronage of President Mahinda Rajapaksa. One hundred thousand families whose income are very low too would be assisted financially with building materials to put up their own houses" the NWP - Chief Minister said.
