Dear children,

We carry a short story about an old woman who gave away the only coin she might have had in her possession to the great Indian sage Mahatma Gandhi when he visited her village. Gandhi gladly took the coin and held on to it because it came from a person who had very little to give materially. This story teaches us that we should be generous with whatever little we can give away because it will definitely help someone along the way. Being generous and helpful is important in our lives.
