Anti-filariasis campaign in Galle

A filariasis treatment program organised by the Anti-Filariasis Campaign of the Ministry of Health will be conducted in the high risk areas in the Galle district, during September and October.

The following areas will be covered: Ambalangoda, Beddegama, Galle-Municipal Council, Hikkaduwa, Rathgama, Akmeemana, Balapitiya, Gonapinuwala, Induruwa, Bope Poddala, Elpitiya, Habaraduwa, Imaduwa and Yakkalamulla.

More information could be obtained from the office of the Medical Officer of Health or the Public Health Midwife in the above areas.
