Hundred rural schools to be developed

The North Western Provincial Council, Education Ministry has taken steps to develop 100-schools in rural areas in the Kurunegala and Puttalam Districts during the current financial year.

Under this scheme these schools will get new buildings and other amenities to serve the increasing number of school entrants during the new school year.

It is expected that schools in remote areas would get priority.
