Retain your beauty sans chemicals

Beauty is something that has been there ever since history began. It has developed immensely over the years, and men and women, regardless of their gender, have been following every Beauty trend when it changed rapidly from time to time.

If we go back to the history itself, the Egyptian era, most probably was the time when beauty therapy was at it's peak. The Egyptian women were known for their various beauty therapies taking extracts from natural herbs and leaves. Queen Cleopatra and queen Nefetiti of Egypt was well known for their beauty, and as there were no advanced methods of beauty culture, they used natural ingredients to enhance their beauty.

Herbal

In modern times, most beauticians say that the less chemicals they use for make up, the better.

Wearing less make up makes you look much younger, actually. Most beauty products made nowadays includes chemicals which are not suitable for the skin. There is a certain tendency to use herbal products these days, but there is no herbal product which we cannot find without some chemical, unless you by the ingredients and make a facial or a facial scrub by yourself, which will be much better and will save money as well. There are pastes which we can make from Avocado, Papaya, honey, milk and curd.

The best way to keep a good skin is to drink at least seven glasses of water every day, because it moisturises the skin and makes you get a better complexion. Believe it or not, it reduces weight too!

For bags and dark circles under the eyes it is said that cucumber is a good solution. Crushed cucumber cools and keeps away the tiredness of your eyes, and if you do this on a regular basis, it will lighten the dark circles and also take away the tiredness and puffiness of your eyes.

Not getting enough sleep is the main cause for getting eye bags.

Therefore, a good night's sleep is essential for a good pair of eyes. Some people tend to use tea leaves which are mildly warm, but crushed cucumber is the best remedy for tired eyes. Though many of us don't know, even drinking water can help! Avocado nourishes and moisturises the skin, and papaya can help clear the dark patches of the skin, and also pigmentation.

These fruits also helps you keep a glowing, younger looking skin. This fact is scientifically proven, and tried out as well.

Consuming a lot of dairy products such as milk and yoghurt also help to get a healthy skin and also a healthy body. Eggs are known to give protein to have healthy and rich looking hair, and though it might sound a little funny, egg yolks are often used instead of shampoo.

The egg white and the yolk have to be applied separately, which is the correct way. It's an age-old method coming from our ancestors and lemon and fenugreek seeds are also used to keep healthy hair. Adding a lot of green leaves to your daily meal also gives you good hair. In Sri Lanka, some people even use Nelli to enhance their hair. Most of these ingredients are used by cosmetic companies but to keep the product preserved and safe, they use chemicals. We all know that consuming fruits and vegetables in our daily routine is most beneficial to give us a healthier life.

Healthy

Citrus fruits such as lemon and oranges are high in vitamin C and absorbic acid. Vitamin C can help fight colds and the absorbic acid helps iron absorption and supports the immune function too. That is why most of the time we're advised to have some vitamin C to fight colds. This might sound new, but onions are anti-Inflammatory which helps fight acne scars.

There are certain beauty tips that we have to be concerned about if we're to have a healthier life and also better figure. Walking is much better than jogging to keep fit and have a good figure rather than going to a gym or use a treadmill. When you walk the body releases sweat, and little by little, it reduces weight too. In the modern days most of our housewives are not interested in giving a little exercise to their body, surrounded by the modern machinery they have such as washing machines, blenders, juice mixers and all the modern equipment.

Those days housewives engaged in many activities such as washing clothes, cleaning and sweeping, but they are not done much these days . They complain about gaining weight, but little do they know by trying a few simple tactics which doesn't cost them money can make them get a healthier and better life. Try to eat healthy, stay healthy, and always be happy and contented, and that's the correct manthra to stay young forever.
