Prince of Wales beat St. Johns by 17 runs

CRICKET: Prince of Wales College, Moratuwa beat St. John's College Panadura by 17 runs in their inter-school under 13 division one cricket match played at Moratuwa.

Carnbrians betted initially and were all out for 121 runs with Sasitha Manapriya claiming 6 for 31 and in reply Johnians were bowled out for 104 runs with Oshada Sandaruwan capturing 5 for 29 and at Stamps honester were 149 for 2 with Kaveen Thathushka and Thimith Prabuddha scoring 65 and 50 runs respectively.

PRINCE OF WALES - 121 (Thimith Prabuddha 25, Lakshan Shashika 22, Oshada Sandaruwan 21, Sasitha Manappriya 6/31 and 149/2 - Thimith Prabuddha 50, Kaveen Thathuska 65)

ST. JOHNS - 104 (Ashan Dilhara 55, Oshada Sandaruwan 5/29, Induwara Nethmal 2/19, Tharindu Gimantha 2/18).
