'Good Night' to refurbish Cancer Hospital kitchen

The 'Good Night', a sing-along and dance with Ronnie Leitch and Vision with Damayantha Kuruppu has been organised to raise funds to refurbish the Maharagama Cancer Hospital kitchen.

It will be held at the BMICH on November 22.

Kidney patient appeals for help

Mrs. Chitra Gunaratne (50) of No. 2/9C Sirimangala Road, Matara is suffering from End Stage kidney failure.

Colombo National Hospital Consultant Nephrologist, Dr. A.L.M. Nazar has recommeded kidney transplantation.

'Hameedians walk' to mark 130th anniversary

Hameed Al Husseini College, Colombo has organised the 'Hameedians Walk 2014' on November 15 at 8.00 am, to mark the College's 130th anniversary.

The parade will march from the school proceed along Mohamed Zain Mawatha, New Moor Street, Sirimavo Bandaranaike Mawatha, Meeraniya Street, Princess Gate, Grandspass Road, Layards Broadway and Jethawanarama Road before returning the school.
