CCC program on media strategies for corporates

The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce (CCC) along with the Sri Lanka Press Institute will hold a three-day course on 'Media Strategies for the Corporate Sector'.

The course to be conducted by two journalists, the Editor of DailyFT, Nisthar Cassim and the Bureau Chief of the AFP in Sri Lanka and the Maldives, Amal Jayasinghe, will enhance the capacity of corporate sector professionals, especially those who deal with the media.

Accordingly, participants will be trained on writing a media release, handling the media in a diplomatic manner, preparing press lines for a media conference, and the roles of the hierarchy in the print and broadcast media, such the editor, associate editor, deputy editor, sports editor, features, news and special subject editors.

The program will be launched on November 26. at the Sri Lanka Press Institute in Naranhenpita. The course is for marketeers, communication and PR managers, external relations and corporate affairs personnel and others who are interested in the subject.
