BoC partners TechCERT

The Bank of Ceylon (BoC) has partnered with TechCERT, the computer
emergency readiness team, to strengthen the information security system
of BoC.
The agreement between Bank of Ceylon and TechCERT was signed last
week at the Bank of Ceylon Head Office.
General Manager BoC D.M. Gunasekara and CEO of Tech CERT Professor
Gihan Dias exchanged agreements for the information security consultancy
services.
Information system security and system enhancement is one of prime
concerns of BoC as it enables the bank to deliver more customised and
secured financial assistance to customers efficiently.
TechCERT, a division of the LK Domain Registry, and a pioneering
project of the LK Domain and the Department of Computer Science and
Engineering of the University of Moratuwa, has evolved into a strong IT
security and engineering consultancy service provider.
Bank of Ceylon's Senior Deputy General Manager, International and
Treasury, P.A. Lionel, Chief Internal Auditor W.G. Karunadasa, members
of the corporate management, Assistant General Manager, IS Audit, J.A.A.
Jayasinghe and members of the executive management and TechCERT
officials D. Ratnayaka, D. Lathsara, M. Hettige and M. de Silva were
also present. |
