Ranil’s pow-wow with LTTE leaders bared

External Affairs Ministry Monitoring MP Sajin De Vaas Gunawardena tabled a photograph of Opposition Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe and a group of men whom he alleged to be LTTE leaders in Parliament yesterday. During the Budget debate of the External Affairs Ministry, the Monitoring MP said he would table the photograph as evidence that the Opposition Leader met LTTE members during his recent visit to the UK.

He said only the Opposition knew the content of their discussion, if it was about the forthcoming Presidential election or something else. He said TNA parliamentarians such as Suresh Premachandran were aware of this meeting.
