Death of Upali Group Chairman, Dr. Seevali Ratwatte

Chairman of the Upali Group of Companies, Dr. Seevali Ratwatte passed away at a private hospital yesterday. He was 91.He leaves behind two daughters Lakmini Ratwatte Wijewardene Welgama and Eranthika Kelegama. He was the brother of late Prime Minister Sirimavo Bandaranaike. He was the first Director General of the Export Processing Zone.

His remains lie at 12, Gregory's Road, Colombo 7. Cremation will take place tomorrow at 3 p.m at the General Cemetery, Borella.
