“World Diabetes Day Walk” was held at the Independence Square yesterday under the patronage of First Lady Shiranthi Rajapaksa. Health Minister Maithripala Sirisena, Additional Secretary to the Health Ministry, Dr. Amal De Silva, Director, Tharunyata Hetak, Dr. Chula Karunaratne, Colombo University's Diabetes Research Division Specialist, Dr. Prasad Katulanda and Chairman, National Youth Services Council Attorney-at-Law Lalith Piyum Perera are also in the picture.

The Sri Lanka delegation which took part at the SAARC Media Forum in Katmandu, Nepal last week. Among them were Chairman, Sri Lanka Press Council, W.
