K'gala Pradeshiya Sabha 2015 budget adopted with 21 majority votes

The Kurunegala Pradeshiya Sabha adopted its budget with a majority of 21 votes. The only JVP member Dharmapriya Dassanayake voted against the budget.

Chairman, Partic Karunasinghe preseted the budget.

The anticipated income for the year 2015 is Rs. 242,225,377 and anticipated expenditure also Rs. 242,225,377.

The highest allocation has been made for healthcare and welfare facilities which is Rs. 15,186,000, Rs. 22,900,000 for the public utility services and Rs. 3,400,000 have been estimated for welfare services and sports.
