Seasonal promotion at Arpico Supercentre

Arpico Supercentre unveiled a seasonal makeover 'Where Christmas Begins' at its flagship store at Hyde Park Corner.

A 20-foot Christmas tree with decorative gift boxes stacked below and lit gift boxes at the entrance provide an inkling to shoppers of the shopping experience that awaits them in this sprawling complex this festive season. Shoppers can win holidays to 15 different destinations through this promotion.

Arpico's 'Christmas Specials' encompass all the traditional needs, from gift vouchers with discounts for quantity purchases, hampers packed in decorative gift boxes and wicker baskets, a home department overflowing with Christmas décor, seasonal meats and cheeses and other seasonal products.

Shoppers are also accorded the experience of delicacies from the 15 destinations they can win trips to, prepared live in-store by experienced chefs.

An informative booklet containing details about the destinations including landmarks, culture, food and Christmas customs is also available for customers, a company spokesman said.

"We have gone to great lengths to ensure that when shoppers enter an Arpico Supercentre this year, there will be no doubt that this is where Christmas begins," said Head of Marketing at Richard Peiris Distributors (Pvt) Ltd, Minodh de Sylva.

He said a wide range of toys and gift items are in store for children who will enjoy the company of the season'ssuper star, Santa Claus during the Christmas holidays.

Over 500 products will be on offer with discounts of up to 25% on selected daily essentials and fresh produce, household items including toys, giftware and electronics.
