COL goes for medical oxygen

Ceylon Oxygen Limited (COL), a member of the Linde Group, launched Conoxia - medical oxygen, manufactured according to GMP standards.

"We are excited to present our new mobile oxygen solution to the Sri Lankan healthcare market. Our high grade medical oxygen is packaged in a compact and ergonomically designed mobile cylinder equipped with the LIV and delivered by our uniformed staff in special trucks," COL Chief Executive Officer Niran Pieris said.

"This is a first-of-its-kind in the country and it underscores our commitment to patient care. It will change the way mobile oxygen therapy is perceived in the country," he said adding that it will significantly raise patient safety and bring convenience and cost effectiveness to care givers and patients.

COL has introduced dedicated Conoxia medical filling stations and storage facilities at its production plants and covered delivery trucks. The entire supply chain from production, quality control, packaging, storing and distribution complies with pharmaceutical standards, ensuring gas quality and reliability and patient safety.
