Forbes Marshall, Sri Lanka operation grows

For over six decades, Forbes Marshall has been building steam engineering and control instrumentation solutions for process industries.

"Today, we have evolved into a leader in process efficiency and energy conservation through technology tie-ups and focused investments in manufacturing and research.

Our joint ventures with the world's leading names enable us to deliver quality solutions in more than 25 countries.

Forbes Marshall has extensive expertise in steam and control instrumentation," a company spokesman said.

"The dual expertise has allowed us to engineer industry specific systems that focus on energy efficiency and utilities management for diverse sectors such as textiles, food processing, paper, power, mining, oil and gas, hospitality, tea and chemicals," he said.

"We have sales operations in 14 countries and customers in 25 countries. We employ people of 14 different nationalities. Our operation in Sri Lanka has grown from a one-man operation in 1992 to a full-fledged team offering products, services and solutions to more than 400 customers," the spokesman said.

"We are proud to have some of the most talented engineers and professional in Sri Lanka in our team. Over the past 10 years we have been providing technical training to industry and students through a joint initiative with Peradeniya University," he said.

"We have long standing partnerships with some of the best names in the control instrumentation and steam industry such as Arca Regler of Germany, Codel of UK, Krohne Messtechnik of Germany and Shinkawa of Japan, to develop, design and supply innovative solutions and products," the spokesman said.
