Commuters benefit by new bus service

Sri Lanka Transport Board, Teldeniya commenced a new bus service in the area with the new eleven buses received from the Ministry of Transport. The deport Manager J.M. Sarath Bandara said that they have deployed two new buses from Rangala to Colombo and Iskolamuduna to Colombo. Buses pass Teldeniya town at 3.30 a.m. and at 4.10 a.m.

The Deport Manager said that these two buses will specially help the patients to get medicine from Kandy General Hospital and government officers who go to the work in Colombo from Teldeniya. Another bus leaves Teldeniya at 7.15 a.m to Negambo and returns to Kandy from Negambo at 3.30.p.m. The new bus which runs to Mahiyangana via Madawala from Kandy reaches Udadumbara at 7.30 a.m. This bus will serve many teachers to schools in Udadumbara from Madawala Menikhinna area. Other all new buses have been deployed to the routes where many commuters travel daily.
