"Be grateful to President"

NWP Chief Minister Dayasiri Jayasekara said that the people should show their gratitude to President Mahinda Rajapaksa who pioneered in liberating the country from terrorism.

He said that the forthcoming presidential election is a contention between the grateful and the ungrateful. People of all communities should show their highest gratitude to President Mahinda Rajapaksa on January 8, he said.

President Mahinda Rajapaksa ended an era in which the people of the entire country were in fear of terrorism. He had the backbone to do that and the deserves people's honour, he said.
