The Boxing Day tragedy
Dr. Tim Henstock a senior lecturer in ocean and
earth science at the University of Southampton in a recently
published newspaper report in Southampton Daily Echo [SDE] has said
that the risk of a large earthquake was significantly underestimated
at the time of the occurrence of the Boxing Day tsunami on December
26, 2004.
