President to address nation from Pattirippuwa

President Maithripala Sirisena will address the nation from the Pattirippuwa of the Temple of the Tooth, Kandy tomorrow.

He will reach Kandy in a vehicle parade with leaders of the parties of his coalition, the Democratic National Front and with those instrumental in his victory.

The vehicle parade is scheduled to start at 8.00 am from Independence Square, Colombo.

He is scheduled to stop at the Bandaranaike Samadhi at Horagolla at 9.30 am, to pay floral tributes before proceeding to Kandy.
