Major honours for Peterites

Overnight rain which prevented a start on schedule proved a spoiler as the Singer Under 19 cricket encounter between St.Benedict's and St.Peter's ended in a draw with the Peterites taking major honours at Kotahena yesterday.

In reply to the Peterites first innings score of 306 for 7 declared, the Bens were shot out for 148 after being 72 for 4 overnight. The match began at 1.00pm on the secon day and the Bens who were made to follow on were 85 for 3 atstumps.
